Guardian™ Fidget Console
Tactile relief for 12-hour console shifts.
The Guardian™ Fidget Console addresses a documented need in the Space Force operational environment: you are sitting in front of real screens for 12 hours watching satellites do what satellites do, and your hands have nothing to contribute. This console gives them something. Forty-eight premium mechanical keyswitches — individually actuating, satisfying to press, and connected to absolutely nothing — provide the tactile engagement your fingers require while your eyes do the actual mission.
Our Space Systems engineering team evaluated 22 switch variants before selecting the tactile clicky model, designation 'Blue,' because it was the loudest and because the console operations floor has ambient noise that absorbs it. Each button is labeled in a proprietary typeface our vendor called 'vaguely technical.' The labels do not correspond to any function. This is documented in the product specification as 'feature-complete by design.'
Full RGB illumination cycles through 14 preset modes, including Orbital Sunrise, Deep Space, and a mode called SATCOM that is just blue. The console draws power via USB-C and produces a soft operational hum that our focus groups described as 'reassuring' and 'the sound of purpose.' It pairs with the Orbital Intelligence Coffee Warmer for a complete console-shift workstation.
“The Air Force sits at consoles too, but they have window seats and a coffee shop nearby — you have this, and honestly it is better.”

After-Action Reports
I have been on console watch for 11 hours today. My hands have pressed every button on this device at least 40 times. The satellite is fine. I am fine. We are all fine.
My senior enlisted caught me pressing buttons and asked what system I was operating. I said 'space.' He accepted this and moved on. Two stars because I had to lie.
Issued one to every operator in my flight. Watch floor morale is up. Zero buttons have been connected to anything. Mission readiness: unaffected. Recommend for all Delta units.
