Rucking Enrichment Stones™ (set of 6)

Decorative bricks for emotional weight.

UNIT PRICE$149.99

The Rucking Enrichment Stones™ are a set of six individually named bricks designed to transform the ruck march from a physical exercise into a reflective practice. Each stone is hand-labeled with one of the six core Army emotional states: Discipline, Regret, Hooah, Brotherhood, Foot Pain, and Retirement. Together they weigh 30 pounds and fit inside a standard ALICE or MOLLE ruck with room for one MRE and your reenlistment paperwork.

The naming convention follows research conducted by our Army Morale Division, which determined that soldiers carry these six concepts regardless of whether they are physically represented in their ruck. By externalizing the weight, the soldier gains perspective. By carrying 30 additional pounds, the soldier gains blisters. Both are considered enrichment.

Stones are cast from recycled concrete aggregate and finished with a matte gray coating rated for field conditions. 'Retirement' is slightly heavier than the others. This was intentional.

The Navy loads your weight onto a ship for you. You carry yours on your back for 12 miles. One of these builds character and the other builds a port authority invoice.

After-Action Reports

★★★★★SGT Franklin Dubose

I carry Brotherhood and Foot Pain every Friday morning. They have not made the ruck easier. They have made it feel more honest. I have recommended this to my entire squad.

★★☆☆☆SPC Hannah Birch

I was told these were metaphorical. They are not metaphorical. They are bricks. I am stronger now but I did not consent to this.

★★★★★SFC Cornelius Mabry

Put Retirement in the bottom of my ruck three years ago. I can feel it on every march. That is the correct amount of feeling to have about it.
